Born in Haleiwa, Hawaii, Joel Centeio obviously likes to surf, but aside from that he also likes to fish, golf and hang with his wife and kids. He's a laid back guy who dreamed of being a pro surfer from a very young age. At the age of 30, he's accomplished a great deal; winning the 2009 Reef Hawaiian Pro at his home break Haleiwa was one of his favorite moments, but most recently took second place at the Vans Triple Crown.
